John Reeves of Fairbanks, Alaska set up a sprinkler system and pumped water through it, building this enormous ice tower. He's shown in this picture as the spec on the bottom right.

He expects it will be 160 to 180 feet tall and weigh 80,000 tons by April when he intends to turn off the water to the sprinklers.
